Robert Jackson

Argonne National Laboratory
Bobby Jackson is a postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory studying thunderstorms using Doppler radars. His research interests pertain to the vertical motions inside thunderstorms and how they relate to meteorological conditions in the Tropics. His expertise includes the dynamics and microphysics of thunderstorms and ice clouds, as well as over a decade of experience in programming and software development in several languages, including Python. Bobby Jackson obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Atmospheric Sciences studying the microphysical properties of cirrus clouds and estimating uncertainties in ice measurements.
