Just predicting the target label for image classification problems is not enough. It is also important to understand the “why”, “what” and “how” about the categorization process. In this talk, I will explore different ways to faithfully interpret and evaluate Deep Neural Network models - Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) Image/NLP based models to understand the impact of salient features in driving categorization.
